I discovered a fun, new small business today, called "Geeky Sex Toys"—and it's exactly what it sounds like.
If you are like me, you enjoy a good fantasy or sci-fi story every now and then, or perhaps all the time. I admit it: I've been a Star Trek watcher for years, I binged-watched every episode of Battlestar Galactica on Netflix, and I've had a crush on Luke Skywalker since I was little. I also read comic books and, duh, Harry Potter and other magical/fantasy books.
Which means I can appreciate a themed sex toy when I see it. Think of Geeky Sex Toys as what Think Geek would make if they got into adult novelties. There's a Masters of the Universe-style dildo sword; another dildo shaped like a lightsaber; a mini-vibe dragon egg; and—taking advantage of the latest craze, a whole series of Pokemon sex toys!
That's right—you can stick a "Piky" up your partner's ass (pictured left), or get them off with any of several other probes (Bulby, Charmy, and Squirty) that are surprisingly—or not all that surprisingly, given the aim of the maker—like the little animated dudes that are on most of your phones.
What's as interesting as all of the above is that Geeky Sex Toys will make a custom toy to your specifications in just a one-week turnaround, for the right price. And, they are actively taking suggestions/requests for their own new lines. So now the wheels are turning as I think about how hubby and I could incorporate some new toy into our bedroom fun... maybe some cos-play, a Jenny Weasley fantasy, and a "wand" from Ollivander's? hmmm....
